I have been doing a radio program on DubaiEye 103.8FM for the last 10 years.
One of the most rewarding things about hosting a radio show in the Middle East is the opportunity I have to connect with a variety of people who all seem to genuinely care.
With all that is going on in Syria, and a nudge from a listener, we decided to do a show that asked what listeners would say to civilian Syrians if they had an opportunity.
This is the podcast of that show.
This may be the most important show I have done and the last message summed up the hour.
As a Syrian with extended family in Aleppo, i feel the pain of people of Aleppo all the time. My frustration builds up everyday. My helplessness numbs me. I’m sorry. My prayers are with you. I’m sorry for not being able to do anything. I’m sorry.
