New Media?

It is a shame I could not be at the NEW MEDIA EVENT in Dubai today.

Part of the problem is time, I have to be int he classroom today and part of the problem is cash, it is a bit of a stretch!

But what I find surprising a bit surprising is how NEW MEDIA FREE the conference seems to be!

I mean the blog is not being updated.

I mean what about a 5 minute YouTube piece each presentation?

I mean what about being NEW MEDIA?

I am of course to blame in that I did not offer to be the new media disseminator for the conference.

BUT there is light at the edge of the tunnel.

By using Twitter I am able to keep track of what people are saying about the presentations!

Very cool and very new.

I am still waiting for some twitpic updates!

I suspect there is still a lot of hand holding to do when it comes to talking, using and doing new media.

Too bad IIR didn’t use this event as a way to raise the bar!
