The power of social networking!

I think all too often the clever ad idea is put forward because it has currency in the ad industry.

But all too often those clever ads fail to hit the mark with the customer.

Case in point!

Give the ad a look, what do you think?

Maybe what needed to be done here was take the idea to a playgroup, play it, talk about it and listen carefully!

I cannot help but think this was a clear case of clever over good market research!

But what becomes even more interesting is the response on TWITTER and the fact that that response could be so powerful!

Social Networking is a force to reckon with!

Time business started to take web 2.0 seriously!

So the next question is how well are we preparing our students today, in the MBA or even their BA, to deal with and harness the power of web 2.0?

We are not!

Why? J&J will be asking that very question!
