Twitter!

Has become a vital communication tool for me and is slowly becoming a tool that my students use to know what I am looking at and what might be feeding into my classes.
In case you have missed it www.twitter.com is a free micro blogging tool, you can only use 140 characters per post.
Twitter offers an easy way to pass instant information to interested parties via the site proper or facebook and blogger… the list is actually more extensive I simply use the two.
Who needs this tool? When was the last time you were in a store saw a website that you wanted to share with friends? What about a traffic update? What about a tip on an investment?
140 character blogging may actually help to push education into the mobile media age.
