Today as I was sitting in my office having a meeting I pulled my phone out of my pocket and placed it on my desk. I was given instant credibility because of what was recognized as a phone that is packed with all the latest technology. The fact of the matter is the phone is a BlackBerry. The fact of the matter is the phone could be a technological heavyweight. The reality is I do not have a BlackBerry connection and only use the phone to make phone calls and send SMS messages. The message? You have total control of the message you are sending to others and if you don’t make an active attempt to control the message being sent you can and will set yourself up for failure.
